Kaile and I have decided there is a basilisk living in our house. It slithers around to its heart's content nearly every morning until we quiet it with some parseltongue. He listens.
Yes, we speak parseltongue (I think Kaile's might be a parseltongue/Hebrew hybrid). Tell me one more time that I belong in Hufflepuff and I'll have my basilisk petrify you.

:/
Today my computer died, so I had to go into a computer lab and use one of those computers to do a research study online for extra credit. Little did I know that the survey would require watching this little gem...
Not what I was expecting from a business study. Watch it, I dare you. And then I dare you to watch it in front of your peers in a computer lab in the Tanner building.

Smokey the Bear?
This morning I looked at a comment my friend, Vanessa, had posted on my Facebook: "yesterday was sunday." Caught red-handed. Monday isn't that much after Sunday though, is it?
K, so the last two weeks have literally been the craziest of my entire life. I'm talking school from 8 a.m.-12 a.m. every day. That's 16 hours, people. Most of the stress was due to incessant exams and a case competition I was working on. The tests? So glad they're over. The case competition? Mixed feelings. I'm going to miss my team!
To give you a little taste of how much fun we had, picture this: we arrive at the competition at the University of Utah where everyone is dressed in business professional. The Flavor Five (catchy, I know), however, are dressed in the attire of...
Park Rangers.
Needless to say, we got many a confused/judgmental glance. Whatever. It helped us win 3rd, so we were excited! Especially since we were an undergrad team against 19 other undergrad and MBA teams from 4 different schools. Plus $1,000 in prize money isn't too shabby either.
When putting together this outfit, I texted 20+ people who I thought may have a higher chance of owning a hat such as this. In response, I got many references to Smokey the Bear, but I also came out victorious. Take that.
K, see ya Sunday!!

Okay, for real this time
Now that it's the beginning of March, it's time to revamp my New Years' Resolution to blog more. Let's break it down into legitimate goals. Here goes: blog every Sunday. Okay, I can handle that. And if I so happen to want to blog in between, so be it.

Once Upon a Time
I made a New Year's resolution to blog more.
I went home for Christmas break, and it was magical. Boy, I do love Lancaster county.
I went to The Melting Pot twice over break. Chocolate is heaven.
I grew up and took down the Jonas Brothers posters from my bedroom door at home. Bittersweet moments.
I had the coolest friends in the world, and we made butterbeer and then watched The Chamber of Secrets. I want more. Accio butterbeer.
Kaile and I went on a drive through the canyon and decided that Utah is just beautiful, and we are so lucky to go to school here. Fight me.
My best friend, Kaile Knell, got her mission call. Tacoma, Washington! Her mission includes the hotspots of Forks and La Push (it's La Push.) I'm going to miss her, but she will be the most wonderful and beautiful missionary!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas
So far this Christmas break has been fantastic. And one of the major parts of it? My fabulous family. I'll elaborate more on their fabulousness in a future post, but for the time being enjoy this snapshot into our Christmas Eve Day.
A little candid croquet on Christmas Eve Day? Why not.
Sleep well, little readers. And I hope that as we all celebrate this Christmas season that we can remember the true meaning of the holiday and truly celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, I know I would be nothing. Let us worship Him this holy season!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight.
P.S. Didn't realize how long it's been since I posted! New Year's Resolution: obvs post more often. (Crossing my fingers this actually works)
